LOS ANGELES, CA. – The Tampa Bay Lightning suffered their third straight loss on Saturday night, falling 2-1 to the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena.
The Lightning opened the scoring early in the first period with a goal from defenseman Victor Hedman, assisted by Brayden Point and Jake Guentzel. However, the Kings responded with two goals of their own, one from Michael Anderson in the first period and another from Adrian Kempe in the third.

Despite outshooting the Kings 35-21, the Lightning were unable to find the back of the net again. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 19 saves in the losing effort.
Victor Hedman’s goal was the 161st of his career, tying him with Tyler Johnson for seventh-most goals in Lightning history, and Brayden Point extended his point streak to 15 of his last 17 road games.
The Lightning will look to snap their losing streak when they face the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday at 8:00 PM EST.
