TAMPA, Fla. – After defeating the New Orleans Saints 26-9 Sunday, the Buccaneers are on top of the NFC South.
QB Baker Mayfield threw three touchdown passes, and the Buccaneers defense stifled just about- everything the Saints tried during a 26-9 win on Sunday.
The victory is the Bucs’ third in four tries this season, and the Saints are now 2-2.
The Bucs lost wide receiver Mike Evans to a hamstring injury, who left late in the first half and was ruled out after testing it at the start of the third half.
The Bucs will face the Lions in a matchup of 3-1 teams next Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
