The catch, his 101st career touchdown reception, moved him into ninth place on the NFL’s all-time receiving touchdown list, surpassing legendary Hall of Famers Tim Brown and Steve Largent.
Evans’ remarkable display of athleticism and skill came against Panthers cornerback Jaycee Horn. The catch, made with exceptional body control and precision, gave the Buccaneers an early lead in a game that would ultimately be decided in overtime.
