Tampa 3-Year-Old Killed In Tragic Accident Involving Vehicle

TAMPA, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident in Tampa where a three-year-old child was struck by a vehicle.

Deputies responded to the scene on the 7500 block of Pitch Pine Circle shortly before 7 p.m. on Thursday after receiving reports of the incident.

The toddler was riding his bicycle with siblings and a parent in the Place One Condominiums parking lot when a Toyota RAV4 turned a corner and struck the child.

Tragically, the toddler was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“This is a devastating and heart-wrenching tragedy for everyone involved,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they navigate this unimaginable grief.”

At this time, no criminal charges are pending.
