HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Detectives have identified and arrested the individual responsible for the shooting that occurred this morning at the El Sol de Mexico restaurant.
During the incident, two individuals were shot, deputies say. An adult female victim has died, and an adult male suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

The suspect has been identified as Donald Donell Jamison, 21.
Jamison was arrested at the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, and Robbery. Additional charges may be pending.
Detectives will be working diligently over the next several hours to establish a timeline of events leading up to the shooting.
