The Sunshine Foundation, a leading wish-granting organization, has recently fulfilled the dream of Alexandra Vincent, a child living with Down syndrome, by sending her and her family on a magical trip to Florida.
Alexandra’s mother, Jennifer, expressed her daughter’s immense joy, saying, “Alexandra and my family had a wonderful time. Alexandra didn’t want to go home! She loved all the rides, she kept on saying ‘rides, rides!’ This is the first time she ever wanted not to go home. She had an amazing dream trip. Thank you all so much for granting Alexandra a dream.”

The Sunshine Foundation specializes in answering the dreams of children with life-long severe chronic illnesses and conditions, including Down syndrome. They provide Magical Dreams, such as visits to theme parks like Legoland, Universal Studios, Disney World, and SeaWorld, often including a stay at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village near Disney. The foundation also grants Special Dreams for items like computers, adaptive equipment, and family trips.
Alexandra’s dream trip was made possible through the generous donations of the Sunshine Foundation All-Volunteer Ocean City Cape Atlantic NJ Chapter. The organization relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to make these wishes come true for children who may not qualify for other wish-granting organizations due to not having a life-threatening diagnosis.
