The Sunshine Foundation has granted James Delaney, a young boy living with the challenges of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a special dream – a family cruise trip.

James’s mother, of Pensacola, expressed her immense gratitude, stating, “Absolutely thankful for the dream trip!! James was so happy all the time. It was unbelievable!”

The Sunshine Foundation is dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children facing severe, chronic illnesses and conditions, including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness, trauma from abuse, and more.

They provide opportunities for children who might be ineligible for other wish-granting organizations due to not having a life-threatening or critical diagnosis.

Popular dream requests include Magical Dreams to visit Orlando’s theme parks and stay at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village, along with Special Dreams for items and experiences like shopping sprees, technology, outdoor playsets, family trips, cruises, and adaptive equipment.
