RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A male subject was arrested on Sunday after the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office received calls about someone climbing a cellular tower.

Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Aviation unit was dispatched to support deputies in the 13000 block of Rhodine Road on February 24, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., following reports that a person was scaling a cell tower.

The aviation unit located the man quickly, after he had live-streamed a video to his social media, and led ground-based deputies to where he was climbing back down the tower.
