New data reveals strong momentum for President Donald J. Trump, his cabinet nominations, and his agenda for his second term. Just six weeks after his decisive electoral victory, President Trump is in a stronger position than ever to implement the sweeping changes that Americans voted for.
A new CNN poll shows that a majority of Americans approve of how President Trump is managing the presidential transition.
This approval includes majorities among women and young people and is approximately ten points higher than his approval at this stage in 2016. These results align with other recent surveys that consistently show strong majorities giving President Trump high marks.

Americans also express confidence in President Trump’s ability to address the most pressing issues, according to the CNN poll.
The majority of respondents trust him to manage the economy, handle Russia-Ukraine relations, address immigration, provide leadership, navigate foreign affairs, appoint the best personnel, and use his power responsibly.
Furthermore, a majority of Americans expect President Trump to perform well once he officially resumes office, the poll indicates. Half of Americans believe that President Trump will bring “change for the better,” including nearly half of women and younger Americans, signaling broad support across key demographics.

In addition to these positive indicators, a Morning Consult poll highlights that President Trump’s favorability is at its highest in at least four years. According to the survey, half of all Americans view him favorably, a significant milestone as he prepares to take office.
As President Trump transitions back into the presidency, the enthusiasm among Americans is undeniable. The nation appears ready for a return to strong, decisive leadership, and President Trump is poised to deliver on the expectations of millions of voters.
