PASCO COUNTY, FL. – On Thursday, lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, of ‘Bon Jovi’ made a stop at a Pasco County restaurant surprising restaurant owners and guests.
“When Jon Bon Jovi admires your “Steel Horse” . . .Jon, we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to host you and your family this evening,” said Taso Stassi of Taso Italiano in New Port Richey.
“It was a beautiful birthday celebration as well. More importantly, our family would like to thank you for being such a gracious and kind contributor to humanity. If this world of ours could just have more giving souls as yourself, it could be so much more of a wonderful place to be alive,” said Stassi in a Facebook post.
Bon Jovi is no stranger to the restaurant business. Bon Jovi is the founder of the JBJ Soul Kitchen, a non-profit Community Restaurant, run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation that serves paying and in-need customers based in New Jersey.
There are no prices on the menu at JBJ Soul Kitchen. If a patron is unable to pay the suggested donation, they may still enjoy a delicious meal.
“For those who are unable to make a donation for their meal, we invite you to come in, enjoy a meal and learn how you can be part of the JBJ Soul Kitchen community by volunteering,” according to JBJ Soul Kitchen.
JBJ Soul Kitchen offers a Pay It Forward Program where each additional $20 donation provides meals for those who are unable to donate.
