The State of Florida CFO, Jimmy Patronis, tweeted out an update for Florida vacation rentals today. The list of approved counties and recommended safety guidelines are included below.
We anticipate this list to grow over the coming days, as Florida is reopening, and will update this as counties submit for approval.

EXECUTIVE ORDER 20-123, SECTION 4: VACATION RENTALS
Counties may seek approval to operate vacation rentals with a written request from the County Administrator and the county’s safety plan for vacation rental operations submitted to the DBPR Secretary.
NOTICE TO COUNTY ADMINISTRATORS
To submit and seek approval of a county safety plan for vacation rental operations, please submit a written request and the county’s safety plan documents to DBPR Secretary Halsey Beshears electronically at Halsey.Beshears@myfloridalicense.com.

For information and guidance for vacation rentals pursuant to Executive Order 20-123, please review the Department’s Recommended Safety Measures and Best Practices for Vacation Rentals.

The below list represents counties for which DBPR has received and approved a request to operate vacation rentals pursuant to a safety plan submitted by the County Administrator. This listing will be updated upon subsequent approvals of county requests when received and approved by the Department.
