PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Starkey Ranch K-8 school in Pasco County was placed on alert status today following concerning online statements regarding the school. The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the matter and has increased law enforcement presence on campus as a precautionary measure.
The Sheriff’s Office has made contact with the individual responsible for the online statements. While the investigation remains ongoing, they have determined that there is no imminent threat to the school at this time.
