SPRING HILL, Fla. – A 40-year-old St. Petersburg woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck in Spring Hill Monday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, at the intersection of US-41 and Spring Hill Drive, a northbound Toyota Tacoma driven by a 25-year-old Brooksville man collided with an adult female who was walking eastbound across US-41 and had entered the path of the vehicle.
The woman was transported to an area hospital, but later died from injuries suffered during the crash.

The pedestrian has been identified as a 40-year-old St. Petersburg woman.
