ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a young man captured in surveillance footage near the scene of a shooting in Jordan Park on August 31st.

The incident occurred when officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found an apartment and a vehicle had been hit by bullets, but thankfully, no one was injured.

Detectives believe a resident of the area was the intended target. Surveillance video shows the young man in question holding a firearm shortly before the shooting, and a masked individual wearing similar clothing was seen firing a weapon towards the victim.
