St. Petersburg Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver Who Struck And Killed Pedestrian

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg police are searching for a driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on 9th Avenue South Monday. The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. in the 1200 block.

The victim, a male, was hit by a Jeep and later died from his injuries at Bayfront Health. The driver abandoned the Jeep, which was later determined to be stolen, and fled the scene.
