St. Petersburg Police Investigate Stabbing Near Sexton Elementary School

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg Police are investigating a stabbing incident that happened near Sexton Elementary School Tuesday.

On Tuesday at 3:07 p.m., a man arrived at Sexton Elementary School, 1997 54th Ave campus. N., to pick up a child and seek assistance for stab wounds.

Fire Rescue units were contacted to transport him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are still investigating what happened. No arrest has been made.

All students and teachers are safe, police say.
