St. Petersburg Police Arrest Man Who Fired Multiple Shots In The Air Outside Of Catalyst Lounge

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla – Police arrested Dwight Williams, 45, after he allegedly fired multiple shots into the air near a large crowd outside Catalyst Lounge on Sunday evening.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire near the lounge, located at 903 22nd St. South, around 8:20 p.m. on July 7th. A nearby officer witnessed Williams driving by and discharging a firearm into the air multiple times. Williams was apprehended without incident.

No injuries or property damage have been reported.

Williams faces charges of discharging a firearm within 1000 feet of a person, using a firearm under the influence of alcoholic beverages, driving under the influence, and possession of marijuana.
