ST. PETERSBURG, FL.- Summer nights are about to get a little less long and a lot more historic.
The St. Petersburg Museum of History will stay open late on Friday and Saturdays, offering discounted admission in the evenings.
The Museum of History will remain open to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer months of June and July. Admission for Historic Summer Nights is $9 during the extended hours of 5pm-8pm.
Regular admission prices are in effect from 10am-5pm. The Museum opens at 10am and closes at 5pm Monday through Thursday and from noon to 5pm on Sunday.
Visitors can stroll through Building the Sunshine City and experience St. Pete’s transformation from a swampy citrus grove to a tourism-fueled arts & culture destination.
Baseball fans will lose themselves in the history of our nation’s favorite pastime as told through the World’s Largest Collection of autographed baseballs. And for those who are thrilled by rare artifacts – there’s our 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy.
The St. Petersburg Museum of History is located at 335 2nd Avenue NE on the St. Pete Pier.
