PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Charles Kelly, Jr., a 53-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, has claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER Scratch-Off game. He opted for a one-time, lump-sum payment of $685,000.
Kelly purchased his winning ticket from Wildwood Meat Market in St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky ticket.

The $5 GOLD RUSH DOUBLER game offers over $188 million in total cash prizes, including 28 top prizes of $1 million. Scratch-Off games are a significant contributor to the Florida Lottery, making up about 72% of ticket sales and generating over $18.95 billion for education since their inception.
