ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Thanks to a tip from the community, St. Petersburg police have confirmed that the woman found disoriented in Vinoy Park is missing from Georgia. Authorities are now actively working to reunite her with her family.
Previous Report: St. Petersburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman found in the Vinoy Park area who appeared disoriented and unable to provide her name or address.
The woman, who was discovered by officers, is described as wearing a red jacket and camouflage shorts with no shoes. Authorities say she appears confused and in need of help but has been unable to provide identifying information.

Police are urging anyone who recognizes the woman or knows her family to contact them immediately.
“Our priority is to ensure her safety and get her home as soon as possible,” said a spokesperson for the St. Petersburg Police Department.
