ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – Police in St. Pete are searching for the driver and SUV involved in a hit and run, seriously injuring a 38-year-old man.
Police say the SUV fled from the scene after seriously injuring a pedestrian while he was crossing in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of 15th Ave. S. at 22nd St. S., on January 13th at about 6:40 p.m.
An SUV made an eastbound turn striking the victim, a 38-year-old man.
The SUV may be a newer model Jeep Compass or something similar in size.
