St. Pete Police Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect Who Fired His Gun

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Petersburg police detectives are searching for a man who fired a handgun during an armed robbery at the Exxon Gas Station at 901 4th St. N. late Saturday night, Nov. 25th.

Shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, 2023, a man carrying several food items approached the cashier’s counter and paid for them with cash.

When the store clerk handed the man his change, the customer pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money. He fired a shot before walking out of the store.

The clerk ran unharmed to a back room and called 911.

The armed man was described as white, approximately 18 to 22 years old, 6 foot tall, and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt over a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored baseball cap with a Nike swoosh tucked under the hoodie, blue jeans, a white mask over his nose and mouth, blue surgical gloves on his hands, and black and white sneakers.
