ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The St. Petersburg Police Department has partnered with Current Initiatives, a non-profit organization, to ensure St. Petersburg families have clean clothes for Thanksgiving.
Officers will be at Soapy’s Laundry on Tuesday with coins in hand to help the families.
Current Initiatives launched the Laundry Project as a way to assist families with an afternoon of free laundry and foster positive relationships with police officers.
