HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – State Road 50 has reopened to all traffic at the railroad tracks east of US 301 as of 9:45 a.m. today.
The roadway had been closed since July 13th for bridge construction and CSX railroad signal work.

While the closure has been lifted, drivers are urged to remain cautious and alert for workers and equipment as construction continues to widen SR 50 between US 301 and the Sumter County line.
