For those keeping score at home, most members of “The Squad” — which is the nickname for the most radical of the radical left-wing Democrats in Congress — have had a rough time in recent days.
Let’s recap those developments, as reported on Wednesday by Washington Free Beacon columnist Andrew Stiles.
New York Rep. Jamaal Bowman, last seen ducking any real consequences for pulling a fire alarm to disrupt a House proceeding last fall, a charge leveled against many of the J6 rioters, was recently exposed as a 9/11 conspiracy theorist.

Bowman published a poem on his personal blog that argued the deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil were actually the work of the U.S. government.
Bowman claimed the 9/11 attacks were a pretext for the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
“Later in the day/Building 7/Also Collaspsed [sic]/Hmm…/Multiple explosions/Heard before/And during the collapse/Hmm…” the poem states. “Allegedly/Two other planes/The Pentagon/Pennsylvania/Hijacked by terrorist/Minimal damage done/Minimal debris found/Hmmm…”
Bowman’s poem also mentions two supposed “documentaries” regarding the 9/11 attacks that suggest “a global plot by international financiers to control the world,” Stiles wrote.
The New York Post reported this week that a new group in Bowman’s district is urging independent voters and Jewish Republicans to switch their voter registration to the Democratic Party so they can hep vote Bowman out.

Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri, better known as BLM’s congresswoman, is surprisingly under investigation by the Biden Justice Department for alleged misuse of congressional and campaign funding.
Stiles noted the feds are eyeing the $750,000 Bush, a defund the police advocate, spent for her own private security since 2019.
About 20% of that went to Bush’s friend who supposedly operates a security firm.
Bush infamously told critics who questioned the size of her security tab, and she called for replacing cops with social workers to “suck it up.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the ringleader of the Squad, rallied to the defense of an official United Nations group with extensive ties to Hamas, the perpetrators of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack that killed more than 1,200 Jews, including at least 32 Americans.
Recent media reports noted that at least a dozen employees of the UN Relief and Works Agency, or UNRWA, which exists solely to cater to Palestinians, were accused of participating in the Oct. 7 attack.
Moreover, according to reports, at least 10% of UNRWA’s 12,000 staffers are believed to be linked to terrorist groups.

In light of all this, AOC ripped those who questioned why American taxpayers fund a group so overtly tied to terrorists.
AOC erupted after the Biden administration announced it was suspending aid to UNRWA.
“Cutting off support to @UNRWA – the primary source of humanitarian aid to 2 million+ Gazans – is unacceptable,” AOC posted on X. “Among an organization of 13,000 UN aid workers, risking the starvation of millions over grave allegations of 12 is indefensible.”
She added, “The US should restore aid immediately.”
As the Tampa Free Press reported this week, Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota is under fire for a fiery speech in her hometown in which she expressed allegiance to the government of her former homeland, Somalia.
During the speech, Omar denounced a deal between Ethiopia and Somaliland, a breakaway region that was part of Somalia until 1991.
Under the deal, Somalialand would grant landlocked Ethiopia passage to ports on the Red Sea, while Ethiopia would work to get its hosts international recognition as an independent nation.
“We, as Somalians, … are an organized society, brothers and sisters, people of the same blood, people who know they are Somalians first and Muslims second,” Omar said in her comments last week.
“Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system,” she added.

“The U.S. government will only do what Somalis in the U.S. tell them to do,” Omar continued. “They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders, and that is how we will safeguard the interests of Somalia.”
In a post on X, which was seen by 3.1 million users and got 70,000 likes, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke for many conservatives, saying of Omar: “Expel from Congress, denaturalize and deport!”
In his column, Stiles noted that The Squad has “consistently behaved in a manner that can only be described as shameful and un-American.”
“We honestly didn’t think it was possible for them to disgrace themselves any further,” he added, “but the events of this past week proved us wrong.”
