SPRING HILL, Fla. – A Spring Hill woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend’s dog multiple times, saying the dog was “bothering” her.
On Sunday, December 29th, Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call reporting that a woman was attacking a dog inside a residence on Rusk Circle.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed that the suspect, 23-year-old Megan Lynn Mileskiewicz, had fled the scene. They quickly located her hiding in the backyard and took her into custody after she refused to comply with verbal commands.

The victim, a 2-year-old pit bull, was found with two non-life-threatening lacerations near its backside.
A witness told deputies that Mileskiewicz had suddenly become angry at the dog, grabbed a pocketknife, and began stabbing the animal. The witness immediately called 911 to report the incident.
After being read her Miranda rights, Mileskiewicz admitted to stabbing the dog, stating that it was “bothering” her and that she “made a mistake.”
