Spring Hill Motorcyclist Killed When Vehicle Fails To Yield In Land O’ Lakes

LAND O’ LAKES, Fla. – A Spring Hil man was killed in a crash that happened around 8:00 pm on Tuesday in Land O’ Lakes.

Troopers say a Mazda CX-5, driven by a 70-year-old Land O’ Lakes woman, was traveling eastbound on Tower Road, and a Suzuki motorcycle, operated by a 21-year-old Spring Hill man, was traveling southbound on US-41.

At the intersection, the Land O’ Lakes woman failed to yield and turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

The Mazda was struck by the motorcyclist, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the collision.
