HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – Two Spring Hill men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred at a party in Webster early Sunday morning, leaving one man injured.

The 18-year-old victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
According to investigators, the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation between the victim and Daniel Moore, 19, of Spring Hill. During the fight, Moore’s friend, Harley Wilkerson, 20, also of Spring Hill, reportedly fired several rounds from a handgun into the ground in an attempt to break up the altercation.
Wilkerson and Moore, along with another individual, then entered a Ford F250 truck to leave the party. As Moore drove away, Wilkerson fired several rounds from a rifle into a group of people standing outside, striking the victim.
Deputies located the suspect vehicle a short time later near Spring Hill Drive and Coronado Drive in Spring Hill. A traffic stop was conducted, and Wilkerson, Moore, and another individual, all of whom had been at the party, were detained. Deputies found two firearms in the vehicle: a rifle and a handgun.
