SPRING HILL, Fla. – A 41-year-old Spring Hill man tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 6:25 AM on Sterling Hill Boulevard, near the intersection of Brightstone Place.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Ford Raptor northbound on Sterling Hill Boulevard when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.

The truck veered off the road and into the median, where it struck several trees while rotating.

The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash, including whether speed or other factors may have contributed to the driver losing control of the vehicle.
