HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A Spring Hill man has died after suffering a medical emergency while driving and crashing his vehicle into a house.
The incident occurred Monday evening on Arrowhead Avenue. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 69-year-old man was driving a Nissan Rogue northbound when he experienced a medical episode and lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a street sign, a fence, and ultimately collided with a house on Greenleaf Lane.

The driver was transported to a local hospital but sadly passed away. A 68-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was uninjured.
The house sustained an estimated $10,000 in damages, but the occupants were unharmed.
