Spirit Airlines Shows It Has No Use For The Spirit Of “Let’s Go Brandon,” As It Makes A Passenger Remove Mask Highlighting The Slogan

Spirit Airlines, itself the butt of many jokes within the travel industry, was not amused by one passenger’s mask.

A man identified as Adam Radogna boarded a Spirit jet on Friday to fly from Ohio to Florida. According to a video he posted on Tik Tok, as he settles into his seat, a flight attendant asks that he remove his mask and replace it with a blue surgical mask.

The attendant declared his first mask “offensive” because it featured a scrolling electronic message in LED lighting that read “Let’s go Brandon,” followed by the letters “FJB,” which stands for “F–K Joe Biden.”

“Let’s go Brandon” has become a rally cry among conservatives since last fall. That’s when an NBC Sports reporter, during an interview with NASCAR driver Brandon Brown, claimed fans in the background were saying “Let’s go Brandon” when they were actually chanting “F–k Joe Biden.”

In Radogna’s video, as he took his seat, the attendant handed him the surgical mask and asked him to put it on. When he requested a reason, she answered it was “offensive.”

“It can be offensive,” she said. “So, we’re not going to go back and forth. Go ahead and put the blue one on, OK.”

“This is not America anymore,” Radogna said on the video after the attendant apparently walked away.

“It’s not America anymore,” he added. “They make their own rules. It’s her rule.”

The attendant apparently said nothing about Radogna’s sweatshirt, which seemed to show an image of former President Donald Trump and the “Let’s go Brandon” slogan.

According to a tech news website called The Daily Dot, Radogna continued the conversation with the attendants on the plane. A male attendant reportedly told him that political slogans are banned.

He challenges that by asking about people wearing Black Lives Matter gear. He then told one attendant that his name is actually Brandon.

Radogna left the plane.

The Daily Dot reported later that Spirit Airlines eventually reached out to him and said the company was investigating the incident. Radogna said he is considering a lawsuit.

Airlines have become harbors for woke politics.

As The Free Press has reported, Southwest Airlines in November investigated a pilot for allegedly saying “Let’s go Brandon” over the plane’s intercom as it was set for takeoff. It’s unclear what happened in that case, as an internet search produced no follow-up reports after the initial incident.

Which is interesting because the pilot’s comment was heard by an Associated Press reporter, Colleen Long, who was on the flight and even tried to get a comment from the pilot. Yet not even she has followed up on her own story.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, American Airlines claimed it was investigating one of its pilots after a passenger complained to the company over Twitter that the pilot had a “Let’s go Brandon” tag on his personal luggage.

  1. Black permanent markers and spray paint are inexpensive. I’ve been tagging every thing with “FJB” all day everyday. FJB
