All southbound I-275 traffic will be detoured off at Exit 30 (Roosevelt Blvd.) from 11 p.m. Tuesday, September 6 to 5 a.m.Wednesday, September 7, weather permitting.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – All southbound I-275 traffic will be detoured off at Exit 30 (Roosevelt Blvd.) from 11 p.m. Tuesday, September 6 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, weather permitting.

Traffic will be directed off at Exit 30, cross over Roosevelt Boulevard, and re-enter southbound I-275 using the entrance ramp.

Traffic will be controlled by law enforcement officers. Motorists should expect delays approaching Exit 30 and going through the detour.

Drivers using Roosevelt Boulevard should be prepared to stop and expect delays in both directions.

The Gateway Expressway project is constructing two new 2-lane elevated tolled roadways that will provide direct connections between US 19 and I-275, and the Bayside Bridge (north of 49th Street N) and I-275.
