The Florida Lottery announced today that Floyd Horner, Jr., from Tega Cay, South Carolina, claimed a $1 million POWERBALL prize from the February 1, 2023 drawing. Horner’s ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missed the Power Ball.
The winning ticket was purchased at the RaceTrac on US Highway 27 in Lake Wales, Florida. The retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus commission for selling the lucky ticket.

The next POWERBALL drawing, with an estimated $20 million jackpot, will be held Wednesday at 10:59 p.m. ET. Tickets must be purchased by 10:00 p.m. ET to participate.
You can watch the drawing live on the Florida Lottery website, YouTube channel, or at select retailers. Winning numbers are available on the Lottery’s website, mobile app, and by phone.
