Caleb Goins was recently granted a dream from the Sunshine Foundation for a family trip to Central Florida’s Theme Parks.
Caleb lives with Tethered cord syndrome, a disorder of the nervous system and the spinal cord.
“Caleb and all of us had an amazing time at the Florida theme parks! Thank you all so very much for this opportunity. Caleb has spent so much time in the hospital and has had 7 surgeries. This was perfect timing because he will always have this memory. He loves Mickey Mouse and Donald. He got to meet so many characters. This brought so much excitement to him. I wish I had a video of when he met Mickey. He was in tears because he couldn’t believe it was really Mickey. This trip allowed him to be a kid and have a blast without a care in the world. Again, thank you all so much,” said Caleb’s mother, Jennifer of Summerville, South Carolina.
