“Snickers Satisfies” Florida Man Arrested After Armed Robbery Of A Snickers Bar At Wawa

You’re not you when you’re hungry, Snickers satisfies, and one Florida man had to have one.

A 49-year-old man threatened a Largo Wawa convenience store employee with a pocket knife to steal a Snickers candy bar, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputies, Erick Sean Minto, 49, entered the store on Walsingham Road and asked the store employee for free food.

Deputies say when the employee refused, Minto, pulled out the pocket knife and pointed it at the employee, saying “Don’t make me do something stupid for a Snickers bar.”

According to the arrest affidavit, the store employee handed Minto a Snickers, ‘fearing for his life’.

Deputies say that Minto then left the store, and left the Snickers on the counter.

Deputies located Minto and he explained to deputies that he was trying to barter the knife for the chocolate sensation.

Minto was arrested and charged with robbery with a deadly weapon. Minto is being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $10,000 bail.
