TAMPA, Fla. – Early Saturday morning, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) successfully extinguished a house fire on Beasley Road, thanks to working smoke alarms that alerted the residents and allowed them to escape unharmed.
At 4:16 a.m., HCFR’s 911 dispatch center received an alarm notification from a fire alarm company regarding a residence at 7904 Beasley Road. Shortly after, a second 911 call confirmed active flames at the location.

Upon arrival, HCFR crews found heavy flames and smoke emanating from the rear of the home. Firefighters quickly deployed hoses and knocked down the fire, preventing it from spreading further.
Crucially, all residents had safely evacuated the house after being awakened by their smoke alarms. Firefighters conducted a thorough search of the residence to confirm no one remained inside.
There were no reported injuries to civilians or first responders. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
