A federal indictment unsealed last week by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts charges six individuals with sex trafficking and related offenses.
The charges allege a disturbing conspiracy that preyed on both adult and minor victims.
The indicted include:
- Christy Parker (26) of Fall River, Massachusetts
- Alexander Smalls (25) of Beaufort County, South Carolina
- Cory Primo (42) of Fall River, Massachusetts
- Avvani Jeffers (22) of Fall River, Massachusetts
- Tre’sean Reid (21) of Beaufort County, South Carolina (currently a fugitive)
- Tyreik Reid (20) of Allendale, South Carolina

According to the indictment, between January and August 2023, the defendants allegedly operated a sex trafficking scheme that forced victims into commercial sex acts.
The indictment details how Parker and Smalls, with assistance from the other defendants, used threats, violence, fraud, and coercion to control their victims.
The charges specifically mention:
- Sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion
- Sex trafficking of a minor
- Conspiracy to commit sex trafficking
The indictment further details that one adult victim and two minors were forced into prostitution across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and South Carolina. All proceeds reportedly went to the financial gain of the defendants.

The defendants will face arraignment at a later date. Sex trafficking is a federal crime with severe penalties, including significant prison time and hefty fines.
