Single-Vehicle Crash Closes Portion Of S. Westshore Blvd In Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – A single-vehicle traffic crash on S. Westshore Boulevard just north of W. Gandy Boulevard has resulted in an extended road closure, according to the Tampa Police Department.

The incident involved only one vehicle and resulted in minor injuries.

The vehicle struck a TECO pole, necessitating the prolonged closure of the roadway to ensure the scene is safe.

Authorities are advising drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid the affected area.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the Tampa Police Department.
