Silver Alert Canceled For Riverview Man, Located Safe

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The Silver Alert for Leonard Gilman has been canceled. He has been found safe, according to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.


PREVIOUS REPORT: The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has issued a Silver Alert for 82-year-old Leonard Gilman, who went missing on March 16, 2025.

Gilman, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, left his residence on March 16th driving a 2018 white Honda Pilot with Florida license plate ETMB41. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve gray shirt, black shorts, and brown slippers.

His vehicle was last spotted on March 17, 2025, at 12:52 AM, traveling east on Big Bend Road, west of Lincoln Road.

The HCSO is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Gilman and ensuring his safe return.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 813-247-8200.
