A Florida veterinarian will spend at least five years in prison, and perhaps as long as 87 years, after pleading guilty to possessing child porn and abusing animals in his care.
These charges include having sex with dogs and creating “crush videos,” in which an animal is stomped to death for sexual gratification.
According to a Department of Justice, Prentiss Madden, 40, admitted in court last month that he “repeatedly accessed a Dropbox account containing images of child pornography, received child pornography photographs and videos through social media chats, talked about child sexual abuse during chats, and stored thousands of child pornography images in his Dropbox account and cellular telephones.”
An affidavit filed by Department of Homeland Security investigators, they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone had uploaded 1,667 images of child porn to Dropbox between June 2018 and February 2020. Investigators confirmed the account belonged to Madden.
According to court records, investigators discovered images of a naked “prepubescent” girl “bound around her thigh, ankles, and wrists” engaging in oral sex with an adult male.
She then had sex with an unidentified animal.
In another example, an adult male performs oral sex on an infant boy.
Agents also uncovered messages Madden sent in which he admits to having sex with a teenaged boy.
In addition, Madden uploaded images showing he had sex with female dogs at the clinic where he worked.
Madden was the medical director at Caring Hands Animal Hospital in the Miami suburb of Aventura until he was fired two weeks before his arrest in March.
Madden will be sentenced on Oct. 8.
