The driver, 33-year-old Deairis Bargman, was injured and was hospitalized.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening, police say. A male adult passenger was seriously injured and is in stable condition at this time.

A man inside the apartment that the car struck was also injured, treated, and released.

Police say other residents in nearby apartments were relocated until the structural safety of the building can be determined.

There was also a minor gas main leak, but that was resolved quickly.
