Shooting Sparks Panic At Tampa AMC Theater Parking Lot

TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa police are working to identify individuals involved in a chaotic disturbance that occurred Saturday night in the parking lot of the AMC theater at 18002 Highwoods Preserve.

The incident unfolded shortly before 10:00 p.m. on November 30th when a fight broke out in the parking lot. During the altercation, one shot was fired into the air, causing panic and leading to minor injuries for three people as they attempted to flee the scene.

Police have confirmed that this was not an active shooter situation. However, the incident caused significant alarm and disruption for moviegoers and those in the vicinity.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those involved.
