The suspect in a shooting at Michigan State University that killed three people and wounded five others was found dead Monday night, according to police.
Police said he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Three other people were killed, and five were critically injured in the shooting. Police said two of the people killed were shot at Berkey Hall, and the other was shot at the Union Building.

Police said the shooter is a 43-year-old man with no known connection with MSU, and a motive is not yet known.
The shelter-in-place order has been lifted.
