Shooting Investigation Underway In Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. – Sarasota Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening near the intersection of 24th Street and North Osprey Avenue.

Officers responded to the scene shortly before 7 p.m. where they found one adult victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited as the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released any information about potential suspects or a motive for the shooting.
