WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – Pasco Sheriff’s Office deputies are currently investigating a shooting that took place in the Low Country Place area around 6:15 p.m. this evening. Initial findings suggest an argument between two adult acquaintances escalated into an exchange of gunfire.

One man was shot and has been transported to receive medical care.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle before law enforcement arrived, and deputies are actively searching for him.
