Boulder Police reported receiving numerous emergency calls about hit-and-run incidents within two miles of the stadium. The driver, later identified as Haglund, reportedly hit several cars and trees, narrowly missing a pedestrian, before heading towards Folsom Field.

Despite police attempts to intervene, Haglund crashed his truck through the stadium gate, coming to a stop at midfield. He then exited the vehicle shirtless and surrendered to officers.
