HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. – A Hernando County man with a prior conviction for possession of child pornography has been arrested for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Joshua Stuart Henn, 28, was arrested on February 14th, 2025, and charged with Failure to Complete 30-Day Transient Registration.
Henn was designated a sexual offender in 2020 following a conviction in Hernando County for Possession of a Photo Showing Sexual Performance by a Child. As a transient resident, he is required to report in person to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office every 30 days to maintain his registration.

On January 2nd, 2025, Henn completed his initial 30-day transient registration. However, he failed to appear for his subsequent check-in on February 1st, 2025, violating his reporting requirements.
Detective Marcacci located Henn at his transient residence on Friday and placed him under arrest.
Henn is currently being held without bond at the Hernando County Detention Center.
