PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Seven Springs Middle School was temporarily placed on controlled campus status as deputies investigated reports of a student possibly possessing a weapon.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office swiftly located the student and discovered they had an airsoft device. The school has resumed normal operations, and authorities have confirmed there is no threat to the school.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further updates will be provided when available.
“We urge parents and guardians to discuss with their children the risks of bringing weapons or items resembling weapons to school. Bringing such items on campus is illegal and can lead to legal consequences,” said Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
