DUNEDIN, Fla. – A Dunedin vehicle crash Saturday morning, left an 83-year-old man with serious injuries, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
An 83-year-old man Palm Harbor man was driving a car northbound on US-19, and stopped, waiting to turn left into Harbor Freight Tools located at 30990 US-19 North. A pickup truck, driven by a 28-year-old Oldsmar man was traveling southbound on US-19. The Palm Harbor man turned left into the path of the pickup truck and as the front of the truck collided with the right side of the man’s car. The car rotated and stopped along the west shoulder of US-19 as the pickup truck came to a controlled stop south of the point of impact.
The 83-year-old man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
