Busch Boulevard In Tampa Reopens After Morning Crash With Life-Threatening Injuries

TAMPA, Fla. – All eastbound and westbound lanes on Busch Blvd are now open between N 40th St and N 42nd St. following a morning crash.

PREVIOUS REPORT: The Tampa Police Department is investigating a crash with life-threatening injuries that occurred at the intersection of East Busch Boulevard and North 42nd Street.

The incident occurred on Thursday at 645 a.m. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

As a result of the crash, both eastbound and westbound lanes of Busch Boulevard are closed between North 40th Street and North 42nd Street. Authorities anticipate the closure will last for several hours as they conduct their investigation.

Drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the area.
